Product Overview

The 8-strand wire rope series features 8 outer strands, providing better flexibility and improved rotation resistance compared to standard 6-strand constructions. This series is ideal for tower cranes, marine winches, and precision lifting applications where smooth spooling and reduced spin are critical.

 

Construction & Design

8 outer strands in Warrington-Seale (WS) or Seale (S) pattern with FC (Fiber Core) or IWRC (Independent Wire Rope Core). The 8-strand design creates a rounder cross-section for smoother multi-layer drum winding and better contact with sheaves.
